The Plant Department offers total solution to project teams in identification, evaluation, selection, mobilization, commissioning, operation & maintenance of plant and machinery at projects. Maintaining very high operational standards, it focuses on optimum and effective utilization of equipment, high equipment availability and technical support.
The Plant Department helps the projects to maximize productivity & optimize cost by maintaining a balance between the availability, requirement and utilization of Plant & Machinery. It helps in facilitating the process of decision making to maintain the right level of in-house asset base wise versa hiring of equipment from external agencies.
Every construction site does have a full fledged plant workshop with qualified engineers and technicians to take care of preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs and routine checks. Annual maintenance, major repairs, registration renewal, third party inspection and certification are being carried out at the Central Workshop at Thumrait.
Oman Gulf owns a fleet strength of 800 + Plant, Equipment & Vehicles from most major manufactures in the world such as CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, Hino, Toyota, Mitsubishi etc... & extend their support services throughout other divisions Gulf Ready Mix, Asphalt Plants, Oman Gulf Plant Hire, Oman Gulf Drilling.
