It maintains an owned fleet of 500 construction plant, equipment and vehicles. In the Oil & Gas Sector the Company has over the past two decades provided construction services to Occidental Of Oman Inc(OXY) and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).And since 2013 the Company has an on-going Contract with OXY for Earth work services for construction of graded roads, ROWs, and drilling location pads.
The Company has also associated with independent Oil and Gas companies as Gulf Stream and Resources, Japex Oman ltd, Phillips Petroleum 66, ELF and ARCO Oman Inc.
The company has a separate division for drilling Water wells and all the necessary ancillary equipment and expertise to complete and commission such wells.OGC has successfully completed numerous wells for Ministry of water resources, Ministry of State & Governorate of Dhofar – Directorate of Water supply-Salalah and private Clients.
OGC has its large fully equipped Head Office and main workshop situated in Thumrait, Dhofar Region as well as a depot facilitity in Rusayl, Muscat.
Thumrait is currently the base from which the company service and support is given to our field operations throughout Oman,oil and gas fields or any other location in theSultanate.
A substantial amount of our work throughout Oman is carried out in remote locations which require specialist knowledge of the working conditions in the interior of Sultanate. OGC has established base camps at strategic positions within the oil and gas concession areas which enable us to service the various contracts with our Clients. In addition the company operates self-sufficient fully mobile camps which at short notice can be put into operation in any required location.
These mobile construction teams function efficiently through constant communication with the company’s Head Office as well as operating a logistical support system to maximize productivity. This has allowed OGC to successfully complete some of the most challenging engineering projects, of tenant very remote & difficult sites. The company has also executed many earthmoving and related civil engineering contracts, to the full satisfaction of the Clients, in various type of ground conditions found in the Sultanate i.e. sand dunes, rock, wadi, jabel and subkah areas.
OGC operates a recognized H.S.E policy. To date both our H.S.E and quality assurance plans have been to the full satisfaction of all our Clients.
